get your face outta my ass
Boy, now that feels good. With my brother's Impala out of the way
(although not gone...yet) my father and I have really been focusing our efforts on the '66. It's been neglected for so long and it's high time it got some TLC. We cut the passenger side stock wheel well out in preperation for the tubs. A lot more material had be removed then we originally thought, it seems that there is a lot of structure between the inner and outer skins of the bed. Nothing a sawz-all can't fix. The tub itself is a little warped and bent out of shape, but nothing some time with a hammer and bag can't fix. I think I am really close to getting a panel done as far as the body work is concerned. The passenger side door is nearly perfectly straight. There is a small ripple in it where the door lock was...very small ripple. You can feel it, but not see it...so screw it, it's fine as far as I'm concerned. A few pin holes and paint gouges left to fix, some primer and that bitch is done. Just about 15 more panels to go now...
