hero or zero: you decide

So....even though I'm out of a job, for the moment, I can't help but shop for the truck. The wheels I've got now are too small and not, I dunno, cool enough for duty as show wheels. So I've been window shopping. What about theLeavenworths from Colorado Custom? Or the Pentia from Intro? Or maybe the Delta from bonspeed? All sized 18x8 up front and 20x10 out back. I kinda like the Leavenworths, unique, and full of style. Of course, I need a kick-ass steering wheel as well. Black leather up top, red on the bottom. Oh yeah.

drifters do it sideways

Holy shit. That's all the more I can say about Saturday. Saturday, if you don't follow, was when Drift Atlanta, the second stage of the Formula D Championship, was held. It, well, rawked. So much so that I must forget my formal English training and go all vernacular up in here. I didn't think I/we (my father and I went) were even gonna go...we had talked about it, but with our upcoming trip out West, we both expressed a concern about spending the money to go so close to the trip; but, alas, we went.

If you have the chance to go to one, go. You won't regret it. The best part about the whole thing is that you see all the action. You don't have to choose where to sit where you think the most people will wreck, or worry about having to try to watch the entire track at once so as not to miss any thing....everything is in front of you. Not only that, the pits are open. You can go down there, see the cars, touch them, look in them, under them, everything. Talk to the drivers, get a John Hancock...the access is unbelivable. I'm going again next year, no doubt.

Be sure to watch G4 TV on June 12th, I think, to see both Drift Atlanta and Drift the Streets of Long Beach. Pay close attention to the 240/Viper tandem in the final 8 of Drift Atlanta. BADASS.

Oh, yeah, my truck is all flat black now. Boo-yah.

ahhh....yesh

So I've been listening to this radio station from Australia the past two days. I really like it, lots of different styles of music. I'm always on the hunt for new, good music, and now I've got a new untapped source for good tunes.

Oh, yeah...I want this car. Imagine that, shaved, chopped, channeled, big engine, oh baby I need new drawers. PIMP.

pbr, brass knucles and dickies style

I'm litteraly and totally geeking over this. This? What's this? Well, Halo 3 of course. Go, buy a 360, go download the trailer (or d/l it various other sources by now), change your pants, watch over and over and over, change pants...well, forget the pants, less clean-up, and get geeked over the final game. Oh yeah, I'm pantless and geeked as we speak. Or I speak. Yeah.

screwed

Population: Me.

Am I cursed? Seriously, am I cursed? I go into work yesterday, start emptying out a trash can when the boss calls me over. Hands me a check and says we're gonna have to let you go. No handshake, no sorry it didn't work out, just a "get your shit and go" of sorts. Asshole.

So....now I'm jobless again. I'll get me another one, and not wait nearly as long this time...but damn if it just doesn't seem like I'm cursed. I show up everyday on time, I leave everyday at the same time everyone else does, i do everything asked, I run all around town on MY gas (no reembursement or anything), I do all the shit jobs just to get fired. I don't get it.
