honest officer, it wasn't me

Hey, I'm not dead.

I've been a bit slack in updating this damn'd thing, I know. No real reason why, really, just being a slacker.

The Ranger has some spiffy new 'graphics', a simple silver pinstripe affair that ends in stylized points. Linkage might be of some help. Nevermind the crappy paint. Is it perfect? By far and away, no; but the paint was hot and I free handed (hand'd? handd? wtf?) it. I've still got to do something similar on the driver's side. On the tailgate I've got the two spear things kinda intertwined that form the other end of the pinstripe. I've also got a nift "evil tiki" on the lower right hand corner. No pics of that.

The '66 (Project: Sic 6 6, it's a pun) is moving along. Hopefully, within say a month, the motor will be in and running. The only reason it's taken this long is because we just came into a '76 Chevy pickup and we're gonna use the money from selling that to finish the motor. In the meanwhile, lots of little things have been happening, parts painting, glove box fitting, etc. One whole side is now in primer (although a light coat), and man, does that make it look TONS and TONS better.

OK, yes, I know I've said many things on here that have later proved to be false (espically car related...yeah, about that), so here's another: me moving. For a few years now I've said that I'm eventually gonna move. "Big deal" you say? Well, more specifically, move nearly 10,000 miles away to Melbourne Austrailia. Why there? Well, in '02 and '04 Melbourne was named "World's Most Livable City". That, and it's kick-ass. But anyway, more recently I've been convincing myself more and more to actually do it, leave friends and family behind and start anew. I haven't quite figured out the specifics out, I'm not sure how one moves internationally really, and 10,000 miles at that, but I'll figure it all out once the time comes, which probably won't be for a nother few years. And hey, I can buy a Silvia AND a GTO down there....hoo-rah.
