Little things will make my day. And little makes my day more then race car bits and bobs. For about a week now I've been waiting on some draw latches to come in...finally they made it home. What are draw latches? They are the same latches found on toolboxes and such. Race cars use 'em to hold body panels on. They make for quick body panel removal and replacement. Since I'll be drifting, I predict some body panels will need to be replaced...so, latches it is. Not to mention it allows me to get rid of the stock bumper brackets, which are very heavy. Race car tech like these simple draw latches really makes me happy.

Something kinda cool and strange happened yesterday...some guy came to the door wanting to buy my truck. Yup, he wanted to buy my truck. That's kinda cool. I declined, as I'm not ready to get rid of it, and I don't think he would've given me enough money to make it worth my while...which would basically be enough money to buy the expensive parts for the 240 and enough to get another vehicle...something inexpensive, but not totally lame. Maybe like a 240 convert or something. Now, if had been flashing a fistful of bills or had checkbook in hand, we woulda talked, but...nah, just not ready to get rid of it just yet.
