that's right, it's smokin' time

So I went down to PTC (PeachTree City....a city just south of me, bout 15 mins away, LOTS of money....) to look for a job at this one shop that I've heard about. Well, they aren't hiring...yet...but I did get to talk with the guy a little bit and I think he may've been impressed with me for what I knew and was saying. I wasn't trying to impress him or anything, just casual conversation more then anything, but what we were talking about wasn't your average, run-of-the-mill convo. So, who knows. Anyway...remember how I said PTC has money? Well, on one rack was a Ferrari, another rack a Porsche, a classic MG parked under the Porsche, a Nissan 240 slantback with a freakin RB20 R33 Skyline engine crammed in it, a red top SR20DET sittin on an engine stand, Benz sittin on the dyno...and what was out back? An R33 Skyline front clip. Money indeed. Somethin tells me I need to do ANYTHING to get involved with this shop. And this guy was cool as hell too. So, that looks promising....Had an "out of truck" experience today as well. There is this real nice yellow Protege 5 running around town..seen him around quite a bit. Well, I was driving back home from PTC ona divided highway, he going opposite of me, when we passed he honked his horn and gave a wave. I didn't have much time to react before he passed though, unfortunatly..woulda given him the same courtesy. I looked around to see who he could be honking at...no one but me. Cool as hell.

So, I think I'm gonna go to Washington/Oregon state to visit family come in a few weeks. Tickets are gonna be from $500-$350...ouch, but, it'll be nice. Looking forward to that for sure.

Got a little ouchie on the truck today. Draggin my front valance over curbs caught up with me...nothing a few fender washers and some wrenchin time can't fix...
